Not True. Promoting affiliate programs is an absolute minefield. People are constantly hijacking affiliate links although it will not help them because the price stays the same, and with stiff competition of dozens of people promoting the same product it becomes a nightmare. You can however make some money if you do not try and sell hundreds of different affiliate products all at once, and use you use Adwords or a pay per click program very carefully and effectively.

When it comes to affiliate program HYPE, the big name internet Gurus strut around feeding you a lot of bull in their mission to make you buy THEIR next affiliate program. You even end up promoting it yourself till a brand new version is released a few weeks later which THEY once again try and sell to you. This is a vicious circle that never ends. There is enough free information out there to teach you how to make money with your own affiliate programs and products. Why buy it from these greedy millionaires to make them even richer. They only tell you half the story, while they chuckle all the way to the bank again.

2. Forced Matrixes

I have been involved in a few of these and all it's resulted in is a lot of wasted time. Here you are working your butt off while Joe soap sits back and benefits because spillover is going under him. Then there are a few One up & Two Up systems as they call them, where you need to sponsor a person for the guy above you which is the first step. All very sweet, but say now this is as a far as you get because you are a newbie and really struggle to recruit people? You are still paying your subscription each month and the guy YOU sponsored is getting it all, because you are not qualified yet! In my opinion it's the top guys who rake in the dough once again with these programs. If you cannot get rewarded directly for YOUR own work what's the point of it all?? Leave them alone or you will be banging your head against the keyboard again with a few dollars less in your bank account!

3. MLMs and Networks

These are as old as time began and have been around even before they were introduced on the internet. In all fairness there are some pretty decent ones out there, but they come at a price which may eat at your savings while you are struggling to get your downline or network up and running. Fall out rate is pretty high because people are getting sick of them as well. Family and friends already run a mile when they see you coming! Sometimes products, systems and commissions are changed so often as well you hardly know where you are and this puts people totally off them. The newest trend is that MLMs that offer you to join for free and upgrade later. Until you upgrade they tell you this and that person has joined and will be placed below you as soon as you upgrade. Miraculously when you decide to do so, half of these so called signups disappear or haven't upgraded themselves which means you do not earn any money anyway. More wasted money and less faith in MLMs at the end of the day isn't it?

4. Adsense

No doubt you have heard of Adsense ads earnings and perhaps even have them on your website/s. No one truly knows the secret of how these earnings are worked out by Google and you take what you can get. Perhaps you have had a lot of offers thrown at you telling you how easy it is to earn hundreds of thousands with Adsense. You even get print-outs to show you earnings from people that promote this means of earning piles of cash online. Believe me; there are few people that can achieve this level of earnings and for those that have, it's more than likely taken those years. Can you wait that long? What's worse than anything else is that your account can be canceled anytime Google pleases, and for whatever reason they see fit. Adsense is more useful to webmasters that have knowledge of website building and promotion.

5. Money For Surveys Anyone??

Perhaps I was unlucky with this business opportunity I cannot really say. It would also not be fair in generalizing here because some new revised programs have been introduced. The program I did purchase cost me $47. My first job or step was to tediously register with hundreds of companies which took me almost two days with a program they gave me called Roboform, which did help a little.

Then I had to patiently sit and wait for surveys to get emailed to me and to log in regularly and see if any had new surveys been loaded.

Yes I did complete quite a few, and was awarded discount coupons for running shoes and bathroom ware for my efforts, but NO CASH! Not exactly something a person can live on now is it. Worst of all my inbox got flooded with so much spam it took me hours just deleting it. In my own opinion a total waste of time!

6. Free Shopping Malls.

Consider the majority of these types of opportunities wasted space on your website if you are promoting banners or a complete waste of traffic if you are promoting a link on traffic generators. Money earnings wise; it is a complete waste of time for most people doing it as a sideline, EXCEPT once again for the select few that know something I don't. In my experience I grabbed some well known shopping malls and promoted them like a madman for months. Rather not give examples or names of them here. The Resultant earnings were less than dosmal for all of them. Not for lack of traffic either! In all fairness though, it is not to say they cannot work for others. If you really know how to benefit from them that is fine... otherwise your time, which is money, is gone forever! Shopping malls that have all the bells and whistles plus tools to market it are the best and may be more worthwhile that the free ones. Very worthwhile investment so far for me.

7.FREE set up Websites stuffed with products

These come with a nice little twist. You are forced to pay domain registration and a hosting package. Sure you get a fancy looking website stuffed with products. What you don't know is that the onus is on YOU to promote it till you are blue in the face. I have read testimonials of people that hail these as the Holy Grail, and even had a few websites like this of my own. What maybe the problem here, is that there are so many of the same types of websites floating around that people start ignoring them.

Better options to invest your money on are subscription programs that offer website management by the owners so that there is better control. You may find such programs rather limited and these are snapped up in a hurry because they have good earning potential.

7. eBay

I cannot say this is not a very lucrative way of earning money but it can be very problematic and cutthroat as well. The rules and regulations, payment systems and shipping can make it a nightmare for the newbie. I did not dabble too much in this myself because I found it a little confusing, right from the word go. If you only have scant knowledge of shipping and handling and the way auctions work,, then you may end up losing your shirt or even in court. Some people have become very wealthy from eBay, but perhaps I just don't know how. In addition to this; learning the ropes can take you months as well. Can you wait as long as that for your first profit?

8. Money from Blogging

This revolves a lot around Adsense and affiliate programs. Once again the real crunch here is having the knowledge on how to get traffic to your blog. There are quite a few free guides on how to do this online, but it turns out to be very intensive work. The result is you may never make anywhere real enough amounts of money worth living on. If you have not got too much patience, then dream on, because like eBay, this is one of the more difficult ones though it is not made out to be. It is useful to have a blog to complement your website and send traffic both ways but money earning wise you need to have some experience in their workings first.

Are they really out to help you?????

No doubt you are also sick of reading how rich THEY are and the way they show off their bank statements on their offers, telling you that IF you buy this or that, your bank account can look the same. All of them promise to guide you, teach you the real answers, and give you a step by step guide to follow. What you do end up buying is more smoke up your butt useless E-books that have just be rewritten by some secretary and called the hottest new version with new techniques ad vomitus.

I have tried out piles (purchased actually) of them and they certainly DO NOT deliver on their promise. Then you get the so called free e-books to reel in your email address Once they have you on these Guru's email lists they throw so much offers at you it can drive you nuts! If you are not careful and believe them you will be as poor as they are rich! Over time they have built up huge lists with dozens of suckers eager to buy fresh crap and I have been one of them more times than I care to say. When the guy wants to buy a new boat or a car he simply sends out an offer to his thousands on the list and bam!

Watch out for these free bonus offers they throw at you to get you on their lists because more often than not its useless rubbish with a backend sell; saying ‘last chance the page is going to be gone forever'. Blah-blah-blah so you whip out the credit card and you are suckered one more time. Real Honest helpful internet Gurus are as many as half the fingers on my one hand!

Here a thing: I had an account with one of these internet millionaire programs and when I raised some pertinent constructive criticism about the program the forum the rich guru canceled my account so fast my head was spinning. Friends of mine on the forums afterwards told me how fast they also removed my posts. Were they trying to hide something??? Hmmmmm

My opinion ...

In order to make a success the average person needs to be given clear set steps that can be followed by any program. If you are paying good money don't you at least deserve that? Free members never get anywhere but paid ones should be given the truth because that is only fair. Whether they act on the information provided as long as long as it is the real McCoy, may be another story altogether.
